Traditional Scottish themed weddings consisting of deep colours, tartan materials and ribbons and the national emblem of scotland…thistle.
Below I have used different coloured tartan materials to put together some pictures of different floral displays and how well they work when combined.
Firstly is the red tartan, the most traditional coloured tartan. Top right is a bride’s bouquet of grand prix red roses mixed with beautiful blue thistle… this would look lovely with the material wrapped round the stems.
On the left again is another bride’s bouquet again very similar to the top one but this has got red hypericum berries which compliments the red roses and thistle beautifully.
Middle is a red roses and thistle buttonhole suitable for the groom… remember to keep your wedding theme throughout the entire wedding. At the bottom is a thistle buttonhole with a piece of tartan ribbon tied into a bow for the wedding theme.
And even the bag pipes matches the colour theme.
