The Inn at Whitewell- Forest of Bowland

♥ ♥ ♥

As intimate wedding are getting more and more popular along with Sunday weddings, This was the perfect small wedding with all the perfect touches! And we love an easy and relaxed bride and Anoush was definitely one of them! Not really knowing much about flowers, They told us what outfits they were wearing and a colour scheme and left the rest up to us. Anoush and James had the pleasure of witnessing our flowers at two previous weddings so they knew we wouldn’t disappoint!!!!

The Inn at Whitewell in the Forest of Bowland is full of 18th century charm with luxury rooms overlooking pure green countryside. The orangery is a cute neutral room perfect for the ceremony and wedding breakfast and looks out onto the amazing river Hodder.

The bride bouquet was wildish so it gave a relaxed feel with very soft blush pinks, creams and white’s. Lots of summery scents with loose foliage’s.

And mini bouquet for little flower girl

Together they look so dreamy!!

Pretty buttonholes for men and women

For the ceremony we used our copper arch on its rustic tree trunk legs to incorporate the country feel and added the white curtain for a touch of modern glam and it worked really well in the neutral room and framed the front of the ceremony. A few extra touches of wooden slices and candles to make it a touch more dreamy!

Foliage tied to the chairs with some white organza fabric looked gorgeous to match the green chairs and tied in with the effortless flower feel.

While the ceremony was taking place there was nothing like pressure when we actually put the 3 tiers together to make this into a dreamy wedding cake…

After the ceremony guests enjoyed drinks in the sunshine on the terrace whilst listening to singer Lauren Dayle – We got to hear a snippet whilst she was warming up and she was fantastic!

There was a quick room changeover and we decorated the table with cute little flower vases and lots of candles. We added in a touch of matt gold to incorporate the gold accessories in the room. Because it was super hot (touching 30 degrees) the windows were open and annoyingly kept blowing the candles out but thankfully was glad for the only bit of breeze whilst setting up!!

Lots more pictures to follow when we get the professional ones through!!!
